A WORD ABOUT MALE VS. FEMALE
Contrary to popular opinion the male Chihuahua makes a very loving, happy, dependable and carefree pet with a desire to please it's owner, whereas the female Chihuahua tends to have an "I'd rather do it my way" attitude, & can be fiercely independent, with a "take it or leave it" attitude toward it's owner. Both are loving but the female is loving on her terms! Many do not wish a male dog because of the tendency to "lift it's leg" but if YOU properly & patiently trained and perhaps neutered early, the male has no more tendency to "mark" than the female would.
